A Madrigal Dinner

The Bloomington Early Music Festival and the Monroe County Civic Theater presented “A Madrigal Dinner” Dec. 2 at The Fields Clubhouse. Local musicians and actors took royal guests on a magical trip to a Medieval and Renaissance past where they enjoyed a scrumptious feast. A silent auction benefited both non-profit organizations. Singers and musicians from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music performed. Members of the local civic theater performed a merry excerpt from William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
