From political debate to music concerts to fundraisers, I have planned and managed a wide variety of events that have informed, inspired, and entertained audiences as well as helped provide much-needed funds for local nonprofits. Following are some of my recent events.
A Madrigal Dinner
Dec. 2, 2012. The Bloomington Early Music Festival and the Monroe County Civic Theater presented “A Madrigal Dinner” featuring Indiana University Jacobs School of Music faculty and students of the Early Music Institute as well as local actors and performers.
April 28, 2012. Special Olympics of Monroe County hosted its first annual benefit dinner and silent auction, featuring three-time Olympic diving coach Jeff Huber and All-American diver Amy Cozad.
Oct. 18, 2010. Candidates for Indiana’s 9th Congressional District Representative Baron Hill (D), Todd Young (R), and Greg Knott (L) debated the issues in the nation’s third most hotly-contested district.
Nov. 3, 2011. Television and radio talk show host Tavis Smiley discussed leadership, business, and his latest book FAIL UP: 20 Lessons on Building Success from Failure.
May 15, 2011. Three accomplished opera singers from the Islamic, Jewish, and Christian faiths performed songs of faith in languages from their own religious traditions.
Sept. 7-11, 2011. The Bloomington Early Music Festival highlighted “Music in War, Music in Peace” with concerts featuring music from the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and Classical periods.
